4. Tolerance
4.1. Auto tolerance
CFM-BL10Pro calculates an appropriate tolerance according to each terminal and
wire with AI. After crimping 30 good samples from Teaching, it decides the
appropriate tolerance based on the tendency of the deviation, maximum values and
minimum values. Then CFM performs judgements based on the tolerance. The Auto
tolerance is set as an initial setting. Normally use this Automatic tolerance mode.
However, if lots of false alerts happen or severer tolerance is required, manually
change the tolerance number or use the manual tolerance.
When Program is enabled, the tolerance which is calculated based on 30 good
samples from the first Teaching in each program will be registered as the initial Auto
tolerance of the program. When the program is selected next time for CFM
judgments, the tolerance registered before is auto applied to the judgement. When
you want to recalculate Auto tolerance, refer to 5.1.8. Recalculate Auto tolerance.
When Program is disabled or Program is enabled but No Program is selected, Auto
tolerance is calculated based on 30 good samples from Teaching. The calculated
Auto tolerance is automatically applied to a current operation, but the tolerance is
cleared every Teaching and not saved in CFM. It because to avoid applying a
tolerance calculated based on one item to the judgement of others item when a
common setting is used among several items.
*Tol No.7 is used for judgement from the first teaching to crimping 30 good samples
*When Program is disabled or Program is enabled and No Program is selected, Auto
tolerance value is updated every Teaching.
*Once Auto tolerance of each program except for No Program is decided, the
tolerance value is saved until updating its values by keeping pressing the “A” button.
AI is calculating an appropriate tolerance based on the deviation
of good samples. Auto tolerance is applied to the judgement
after machine crimps 30 good samples from Teaching.
AI finished calculating the tolerance and CFM starts judgements
based on the calculated tolerance.
