If you do not have any torque wrench, tighten M6 screw firmly with a normal hex
wrench (about 100mm length). This state is almost same as the proper torque range.
Preload is not required.
7.1.2. FTW Sensor
FTW sensor is sandwiched between separated base plates. When installing it, we
have to exchange the original base plate with the new base plate designed to be
separated into upper and lower parts. We design a new base plate according to
each machine manufacture.
If you place a PO for both FTW sensor and base plate, they are delivered with the
sensor sandwiched between the base plate.
Example： Straight-side frame
For Straight-side frame, you can
setup the sensor right or left
column either one is fine. Install
it to the center of the column.
