Troubleshooting
E3202 Cassette Open The ribbon cassette is not installed, or has not been pressed
fully home. Check that the cassette has ribbon correctly
installed and insert it fully into the printer. Once the cassette
is installed properly this error will automatically clear.
The ribbon cassette detect sensor is showing that the cassette
is not installed. If the cassette is installed then there could be a
fault with the sensor itself. Check that the sensor cabling or
housing is not damaged and check that the magnet is present
on the cassette itself. Once the cassette is installed properly
this error will automatically clear.
E3203 Ribbon Break The print ribbon has broken or run out.
- Remove the cassette.
- Replace the ribbon.
- Replace the cassette.
- Wait for the 'Clear' button to become available and
press it to return to normal operation.
The printer has detected a break in the ribbon. If the ribbon
hasn't broke but has become slack, check there are no 
obstructions to the ribbon path, check that there is no damage
to either ribbon motor, their connectors or cabling. Check that
the ribbon drive encoder is not damage and is rotating freely.
Once done, replace the cassette and the fault will become 
clearable.
E3204 End Of Reel The print ribbon has run out.
- Remove the cassette.
- Replace the ribbon.
- Replace the cassette.
- Wait for the 'Clear' button to become available and
press it to return to normal operation.
The printer has detected that the ribbon has ran out. If the 
ribbon has not ran out please check that there is no damage to
either ribbon motor, their connectors or cabling. Check that
the ribbon drive encoder is not damage and is rotating freely.
Once done, replace the cassette and clear the fault.
E3205 Calibration
Failed
Ribbon calibration has failed.
Remove the ribbon cassette and check that the correct ribbon
type is being used, and that the ribbon is wound properly on
the cassette. Also ensure that the ribbon cores are not slipping
on their mounting mandrels and that the cassette is 
undamaged. Refit the cassette and then press the Clear
button. The printer will automatically try to re-calibrate.
If the problem persists, contact your maintenance engineer.
