Troubleshooting
E3221 Incompatible
Printhead
An incompatible printhead has been detected.
Press the Detail button for maintenance assistance.
An incompatible printhead has been detected. Power off the
machine and replace with a compatible printhead. Power on
to resume operation.
If the problem persists, or if you wish to purchase spare parts,
Contact your maintenance engineer. The machine will not run
until this fault is resolved.
E3222 Incompatible
Printhead
An incompatible printhead has been detected.

E3223 Printer Ribbon
Low
The printer ribbon is close to running out. There are less than
50 metres of ribbon remaining.
You can view the Consumables Details by pressing the
Consumables panel on the Home screen. This information
will indicate the estimated time when the ribbon will com-
pletely run out if production continues at the current rate.
E3225 Printhead
Connection
The connection to the printhead is not fully functional.
Please power down the printer and check that the printhead
is firmly plugged in and that there is no obvious damage to
the cable.
If the problem persists replace either the printhead or the
Camera, Ribbon & Printhead PCB.
E3226 Printhead
Health Monitor
A problem has been detected on the main PCB with the
connection to the printhead.
Please power down the machine and replace the main PCB.
E3230 Print Signal
Ignored
Print signals are too close together, a new print signal is being
received before the previous print cycle has completed. Some
of the last few products may not have been printed.
If the problem persists, contact your maintenance engineer.
E3231 Print Queue
Overflow
The printer has detected more than one hundred print
requests between the print sensor and the printhead. This
may be due to false sensor triggers, or a faulty print sensor.
Press the Clear button to clear this fault message and then try
to resume printing. If the problem persists, contact your
maintenance engineer.
