3. Procedure
3.1 PCV − Replace
1) Stop the engine.
2) Remove the defective PCV, refer to 5562−1, paragraph 1 and paragraph 2.
3) Install the on-board spare PCV to the engine, refer to 5562−1, paragraph 3.
Note: You can continue the operate the engine after installation of the on-board
spare.
3.2 PCV − Repair
1) For the parts to replace, refer to Table 1 and Fig. 1
2) Replace carefully the applicable spare parts on the PCV, refer to the instructions
given with the on-board repair kit.
3.3 PCV − Test
1) Stop the engine.
2) Remove the on-board spare PCV, refer to 5562−1, paragraph 1 and paragraph 2.
3) Install the repaired PCV to the engine, refer to 5562−1, paragraph 3.
4) Start the engine.
5) Make sure that the PCV operates correctly.
