3. Installation
WARNING
Injury Hazard: The
connecting rod weighs
6000 kg. To prevent injury,
be careful when you move
the connecting rod.

operate the turning gear,
make sure that no
personnel are near the
flywheel.
1) Clean the bearing shell (4, Fig. 7) on
the connecting rod and the crank pin
(2).

The procedure for installation of the
connecting rod is the same as for removel,
but in reverse.
2) Use the same tools as for removal
procedure.
3) Move the connecting rod (1) to front of
the column door.
4) Make sure deviation pipes 94117B and
94117C are installed.
5) Use the turning gear to turn the crank
pin 45° towards fuel side.
