Separating the Engine from the Clutch Housing
1. Place the disassembling jack under the engine and center
frame.
2. Remove the engine mounting screws and nut, then separate the
engine from the clutch housing with starter motor.
(When reassembling)
• Apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1211 or equivalent) to joint face
of the engine and clutch housing.
• Apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1211 or equivalent) to joint face
of the engine and starter motor.

Battery, Recovery Tank, Battery Stay and Radiator Assembly
1. Remove the positive cable.
2. Remove the battery retainer and then remove the battery (3).
3. Remove the recovery tank (5).
4. Remove the battery stay (2).
5. Remove the fuel filter (4).
6. Remove the muffler pipe (6) and muffler (8).
7. Disconnect the radiator hoses (7).
8. Disconnect the drain cock assembly (9).

Separating the Engine from Front Axle Assembly
1. Place the disassembling stand under the front axle frame.
2. Remove the front axle frame mounting screws.
3. Separate the engine from the front axle assembly.
(When reassembling)
