Repairs/Adjustments
CAUTION
Take care when releasing or tensioning the drive belt not to trap or damage the adjacent wiring
harness.
CAUTION
Ensure that the inside surface of the drive belt does not become contaminated with oil, ink or
paper debris during removal or installation. Clean the drive belt as necessary, refer to GP 27.
3. Remove the drum drive belt, Figure 2.

4. Remove the drum drive motor, Figure 3.

Replacement
1. Replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure.
2. Before installing the drum drive belt, clean the drum pulley, PL 94.20 Item 3. Refer to GP
27.

Release the tension on
the belt by pulling the
lever down and rotating
the drum drive motor.

Remove the belt from
the drum pulley.

Remove the belt from
the drum drive motor.

Unhook the spring from
the lever.
4
Remove the e-clip.
5
Rotate the drum drive motor in
an anti clockwise direction then
remove it from the shaft.

Disconnect the top
harness from the
drum drive motor.

Disconnect the harness
from the PSU.
