8.4.5.1 External Ring Tone
The external ring tone specifies the ring tone for calls received from phones outside your
enterprise. To configure the external ring tone:
1. Select Menu | User Settings | Audio | External Ring. The display shows:
This example shows six rows, though in practice the display can show only three rows at
once. As you press the Up and Down keys, the display scrolls through the list of choices.
When you move to a different selection, the phone plays the particular sound.
2. Press the OK button to select a tone. If you make a selection other than custom, the phone
changes ring tone and returns to the Audio display shown in section 8.4.5.

8.4.5.2 Internal Ring Tone
The internal ring tone specifies the ring tone for calls received from phones inside your
enterprise. To configure the internal ring tone:
1. Select Menu | User Settings | Audio | Internal Ring. The display shows:

8.4.5.3 External Call Answer
This parameter programs the phone behavior when it receives calls from outside your enterprise.
You can program the phone to automatically go off hook for external calls after one ring.
