8.5.2.5 Primary DNS
This panel displays the IP address for the server that provides address resolution (DN to IP
address) for the phone. The address was either obtained dynamically through DHCP or is a static
address that you manually configure.
To access this panel, select Menu | Pswd Settings | IP Settings | Primary DNS.
8.5.2.6 Secondary DNS Server
This is the IP address for the alternative server that provides address resolution (DN to IP address)
for the phone. The address was either obtained dynamically through DHCP or is a static address
that you manually configure.
To access this panel, select Menu | Pswd Settings | IP Settings | Secondary DNS.
8.5.2.7 NTP Server
This is the IP address for the server that provides date and time information for the phone. If you
leave this field blank, or if your DHCP server does not provide an address for the SNTP server,
the phone uses the address of the SIP Outbound Proxy to access the SNTP server.
To access this panel, select Menu | Pswd Settings | IP Settings | NTP Server.
8.5.2.8 TFTP Server
This parameter indicates the source of the IP address for the TFTP that provides the configuration
files to the phone. The phone either obtains the TFTP address from the DHCP server or from the
TFTP address configured in section 8.5.2.9.
To access this panel, select Menu | Pswd Settings | IP Settings | TFTP Server.
