Basic Configurations
A basic service ingress QoS policy must conform to the following:
• Have a unique service ingress QoS policy ID.
• Allocates number of classifier and meter resources needed for use (only on 7210 SAS-D
and E)
• Have a QoS policy scope of template or exclusive.
• Have at least one default unicast forwarding class meter/queue.
• Use of multipoint forwarding class meter/queue is optional.
Create Service Ingress QoS Policies
Configuring and applying QoS policies is optional. If no QoS policy is explicitly applied to a SAP,
a default QoS policy is applied.
