3-element (Phases A, C and neutral)
connection: in this case, the fourth element is
derived of the values measured by the other
elements. The three elements are equivalent to
the values applied to the equipment.
3-element (Phases B, C and neutral)
connection: in this case, the fourth element is
derived of the values measured by the other
elements. The three elements are equivalent to
the values applied to the equipment.
2-element connection: in this case, the neutral
voltage is zero, and the three phase-to-ground
voltage are computed based on the two line-to-
line voltages applied to the equipment.
In circuits of one element, the measurements can be in two different ways:
An isolated phase or neutral measurement: If the element is a phase, only the voltage related to this channel
is measured considering the off-set compensation. If the element is a neutral, the voltage related to this
channel is measured without the off-set compensation.
A 3-Phase synthesis: The magnitude for the 3-phases is considered with the same value as that of the
channel measured and balanced (i.e., angles with 120º between each other).
