9.4 ADDING NEW DIGITAL THRESHOLDS
To add a digital threshold, fill in the following:
The SOURCE scroll box allows user to define a code of a digital channel used. No editing allowed;
The CONDITION scroll box allows user to select the threshold condition:
o (blank) - High level;
o (!) - Low level;
o () - Rising edge;
o () - Falling edge.
Once the threshold is created, it shows in the configuration interface menu. When selecting the threshold, a
screen shows its operator and identifier.
The <REMOVE> button allows user to delete the threshold.
9.5 ADDING NEW DC THRESHOLDS
To add a DC threshold, fill in the following:
The Source scroll box allows user to define a code of a DC channel used. No editing allowed;
The Operator scroll box allows user to select greater than or less than for analog magnitude;
The Value text field allows user to enter the magnitude value associated with greater than or less
than operator;
The Hold time text field allows user to enter the time in milliseconds, where the threshold needs to
be exceeded to be considered valid;
The Hysteresis text field allows user to enter a quantity in , whose value needs to be smaller in
relation to the threshold to determine the event end and reset the threshold detector.
Once the threshold is created, it appears in configuration interface menu. When selecting the threshold, a
screen shows the characteristics of the threshold selected, as shown in Figure 30. It is possible to edit the
value, hold time and hysteresis.
