Utility Options
UTILITY OPTIONS
The Utility Options screen provides access to various system utility
functions.
NOTE: You must possess the appropriate privilege to access
many of the utility options.
To access any of the utility options, click the Utility button from the
main screen. The Utility Options screen appears.
Begin Record — Use this option to start recording again after the
image database fills completely with images (see Begin Record on
page 106).
Generate Alarms — Use this option to manually generate an
alarm event for one or more cameras (see Generate Alarms on
page 106).
Clear Latched — Use this option to manually clear alarm
messages from the live display (see Clear Latched on page 107).
Erase CD-RW — Use this option to erase a CD-RW disk to use for
exporting files.
Log Out — Use this option to inform the system that you are
transferring control to a different user (see Log Out on page 108).
Shutdown — Use this option to shut down the system (see
Shutdown on page 108).
Exit — Use this option to exit from the Intellex system and gain
access to the unit’s operating system (see Exit to System on
page 109).
About Intellex — Use this option to display system revision and
copyright information (see About Intellex on page 110). This is also
how you access the Upgrade License button if you have been
granted the security privilege by the system administrator. Click on
About Intellex, then click on System, then click Upgrade. The
License Information window comes up with a virtual keyboard for
entering alphanumeric characters.
Close — Click to close the Utility Options screen and return to the
main screen.
Help — Click to display online help for the screen.
