Shutdown — This privilege lets this user access the
Shutdown button on the Utility Options screen (see Utility
Options on page 105).
Upgrade License — This privilege lets this user access the
Upgrade License button through the Utility Options screen
(see Utility Options on page 105). Click on About Intellex, then
click on System, then click Upgrade. A License Information
window comes up where information can be entered or
changed.
Select OK to accept the new user configuration as displayed and
return to the user list screen. Click Cancel to cancel adding the new
user and return to the user list screen. Click Help to display online
help for this screen.
Edit a User
Use the Edit option to change a user’s security information. Select
the user from the user list. To view other users, click up arrow or
down arrow or drag the scroll button up or down.
1. Click Edit. The User screen appears with the user’s name,
PIN and privileges.
2. Make the changes to the user’s information and privileges.
(See Add a New User on page 39 for information on each field
and privilege.)
NOTE: The user name Administrator and all privileges are
automatically assigned to the system administrator. This
user’s name and privileges cannot be changed. However,
you should change its default PIN (1234) to protect the
system from unauthorized use.
Select OK to accept the new user configuration as displayed and
return to the user list screen. Click Cancel to cancel adding the new
user and return to the user list screen. Click Help to display online
help for this screen.
