Shutting Down and Restarting System
SHUTTING DOWN
AND RESTARTING
SYSTEM
1. When finished, click X (close screen) in the upper right corner
to close the Control Panel screen.
2. Move the mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen. The
Windows task bar appears.
3. Click the Start button. The Start menu appears.
4. Click Shut Down. The Shut Down Windows screen appears.
5. Select one of the following:
Stand by — Do NOT use this option.
Shut down — Use this option to turn off the Intellex unit.
Restart — Use this option to restart the Intellex unit with the
new settings.
Restart in MS-DOS mode — Do NOT use this option.
6. Select Cancel to cancel the operation and return to the
Windows screen. Select OK to perform the operation. When
shutting down, the unit turns off power automatically.
