Image Enhancement Tools
Restore — Click to cancel all changes to the image. The unit
displays the original image from the image database, but does not
change the magnification.
Click Close to close the image enhancement screen and return to
the playback screen. Click Help to display online help for this
screen.

This section describes how to modify the image using each of the
following tools:

NOTE: Each tool has a specific purpose. Therefore, some tools
may not be appropriate for a particular image. Practice
using the tools to learn how they operate. Click Restore
at any time to start over.
Brightness/Contrast Tools Use the brightness/contrast tools to brighten or darken the entire
image and/or to increase or decrease the contrast of light and dark
elements in the entire image.
Brightness — Use this slide control to adjust the brightness for the
image.
Move the control to the left to darken the image. Move it to the right
to lighten the image. As you move the control, the image reflects the
changes. The brightness chart (if displayed) also reflects the
changes.
