CALL MONITOR
SETUP
Use the Call Monitor screen to configure the call monitor’s display
of live video from a single camera. First, under Mode, select either
Call mode or Spot mode. Then, under Call Camera, select the
specific camera to display on the call monitor. Only one mode can
operate at a time. You can change modes in one of two ways: on the
Call Monitor setup screen, select the desired mode (and then the
specific camera), or right-click anywhere in the image area and
select the desired mode and camera from the popup.
Call Mode displays video at the user’s request. After selecting a
camera for Call Mode display, right-click in the image area, select
Call Monitor on the popup, then on the next popup select Call Mode,
and on the last popup select a specific camera. The selected
camera’s live video will be displayed on the call monitor. You can
also change modes in the image area by right-clicking, selecting Call
Monitor on the popup and then selecting the desired mode.
Spot Mode displays live video from alarmed cameras to the call
monitor. To select Spot Mode, right-click in the image area, select
Call Monitor on the popup, then on the next popup select Spot
Mode. Then video from the alarmed cameras will be displayed for
the duration of the alarmed segments, as configured in Alarms Setup
on page 78.
