4.7.4 Pulse Transients
Pulse transients let you program the output to a specified value for a
predetermined amount of time. At the end of the Pulse transient, the output
voltage returns to its previous value. Parameters required to set up a Pulse
transient include the pulse count, pulse period, and pulse duty cycle. An
example of a Pulse transient is shown in Figure 4-43. In this case, the count is
4, the pulse period is 16.6 ms or 60 Hz and the duty cycle is 33%.

Note that Pulse transients can only be programmed over the bus, not the front
panel. Refer to the SCPI Programming Manual for more information about
programming Pulse transients and triggers.
