Restart the instrument and the computer
Use this procedure if any of the following conditions occur.
• If communication errors are displayed
• If the front panel indicator is blinking red
• At the end of spatial calibration, if Accept/Reject buons are dimmed
• If maintenance wizards are taking longer than expected
• If software operations are taking longer than expected
When you are instructed to restart the instrument and the computer:
1.
Exit the Data Collection Software.
2.
Power o the computer.
3.
Make sure the instrument door is closed, then power o the instrument.
4.
When the computer is completely powered o, wait 60 seconds, then power on
the computer. Wait until the Windows
™
login screen is displayed. Do not log in.
5.
Power on the instrument and wait until the green status light on the front panel
is on and not ashing before proceeding.
6.
Log in to Windows
™
operating system.
7.
Start the Data Collection Software.
