Create an instrument protocol
An instrument protocol contains the seings necessary to run the instrument
(protocol name, type of run, run module, and dye set).

In the navigation pane of the Data Collection Software, select GA
Instruments4 ga37304 Protocol Manager.

In the Instruments Protocols section, click New.

Enter a protocol name and optional description.
4.
Select Regular in the T
ype dropdown list.
5.
Select the run module and dye set for the protocol (see Appendix C, “Run
modules“).
Note: If you will use BigDye XTerminator
™
Purication Kit for sequencing
reaction clean-up, select the run modules marked as 'BDx'.

Click OK.
