Empty the anode buer jar into an aqueous waste container.
5.
Add 67 mL 1X run buer to the jar.
6.
Put the anode buer jar on the instrument with the overow hole facing you.
7.
Verify that the meniscus of the buer is just below the red ll line on the jar.
8.
Verify that the electrode is immersed in the buer.
Check the polymer level
Check the level of polymer, then replenish if needed. Replace polymer if it has been
on the instrument for more than 1 week. See “Replenish or change polymer type“ on
page 119.
IMPORTANT! Allow polymer to reach room temperature before installing on the
instrument.
