Place the Water and Waste reservoirs into the instrument. The reservoirs must be
in the following order from left to right:

Close the instrument door

Fill the anode buffer jar
Replace the anode buer at the following times.
• Before each group of scheduled runs, or at least every 48 hours
• After you replenish polymer
• After you replace the capillary array
• After you run the Bubble Remove wizard
• Every time that you change the buer reservoir
IMPORTANT! The operations list abov
e introduce polymer into the anode buer jar.
When you replace the 1X run buer
, do not add fresh buer to old buer. Discard old
buer, then add fresh buer.
IMPORTANT! Using old 1X buer can lead to loss of resolution and data quality

Remov
e the anode buer jar by pulling it down, then twisting it slowly.
2.
Empty the anode buer jar into an aqueous
waste container.
3.
Rinse the anode buer jar using deionized
water.
4.
Rinse the anode buer jar using 1X run
buer.
a.
Add 5 mL 1X run buer to the anode
buer jar.
b.
Tilt the anode buer jar 90°.
c.
Rotate the jar to rinse the interior with buer.
