Examine the peaks of the spatial calibration.
A prole is acceptable if the peaks meet the following conditions.
• Peaks in the prole are approximately the same height.
• The peak height increases at the beginning and the end of the spatial prole.
Note: If you are using a 96-capillary array, a small peak may appear in the left
side of the prole. The peak is normal.

A prole is not acceptable if the peak heights are irregular. See “Spatial

Verify that an orange cross appears at the top of each peak in the prole.
Expand the prole if needed. See “Magnify the spatial prole“ on page 96.
