Examine the peaks of the spatial calibration.
A prole is acceptable if the peaks meet the following conditions.
Peaks in the prole are approximately the same height.
The peak height increases at the beginning and the end of the spatial prole.
Note: If you are using a 96-capillary array, a small peak may appear in the left
side of the prole. The peak is normal.

A prole is not acceptable if the peak heights are irregular. See “Spatial
calibration troubleshooting“ on page 138.

Verify that an orange cross appears at the top of each peak in the prole.
Expand the prole if needed. See “Magnify the spatial prole“ on page 96.
