7.2.3.3 Polarization Encoder
The Polarization encoder, when installed, is mounted to the output shaft of the motor providing a
more precise feedback on Pol position. The controller uses the output of the encoder to determine
the range of motion from axis point A to point B. The information is then processed by the AAQ and
displayed as angular position.

7.2.3.4 Polarization Limits
The controller uses the polarization potentiometer voltage and motor encoders to determine limits.
Most units have the mechanical capability of +/- 95 degrees.
