For small temperature changes or temperature settings close to the limits choose a small
ramping rate e.g. 1°/s or less to avoid over/undershoot of the sample temperature.
Uncorrected sample height (Z-Position) will lead to slightly wrong lattice parameters!
To start using the chamber, follow these steps:
1. Open the water supply.
2. Switch on the controllers and the water bath, wait until the booting process is finished.
Check for messages and follow the instructions.
3. Switch on the diffractometer or reboot the diffractometer.
4. If the chamber is configured, the ICS connects automatically after some minutes to the
controllers. More details are described in the user’s manual for your temperature
controller.
´ Everything is now ready for operation.
5. Activate the COMMANDER plugin in DIFFRAC.MEASUREMENT CENTER
´ Six different modes are available for environment. The standard mode is Set
Temperature and Humidity. A standard measurement changes the relative
humidity at a constant temperature.
6. Insert a temperature (°C) and relative humidity (%) in the according fields.
