Usethetransmissionenableswitchbypushingdownonthetopoftheenableswitch.Theindicator
lightonthebottomoftheenableswitchwillilluminatewhenactivated.Byfollowingthecorrect
sequenceandenablingtheauxiliaryF-N-RtheoperatormayselectFORWARD-NEUTRAL-REVERSE
fromtheloadercontrolleverortheauxiliaryF-N-Rswitch.SeeChapter4-OperatingInstructions
forfurtherinformation.
7.Autoshiftswitch
Theautoshiftswitchisusedtoselecttheautomaticormanualmodeofoperationforthetransmission.
WhentheautoshiftswitchisintheONposition,thetransmissionwillautomaticallyshiftupanddown
between1stor2ndandthehighestspeedsettingonthetransmissionlever.
8.Declutchswitch(4-speedonly)
Usethedeclutchpressureswitchtoadjusttheclutchcut-offpoint.Theswitchcontrolsthevehicle
tractiveeffortusingthebrakepedal,independentofenginespeed.Thisfeaturecanimproveloader
applicationswhentruckloadingandtightcorneroperationsarerequired.
8.Torqueconverterlock-upswitch(5-speedonly)
Thisswitchallowsadirectmechanicalconnectionbetweentheengineandthetransmissionto
eliminatetorqueconverterloss.Itallowstheoperatortoremainlockedupfromsecondgearupward.
Thisallowsforfastervehicleaccelerationsandspeeds.
