Replacethehydraulicoillterwhenthehourmeterregisters100hoursforanewmachineduringtheinitialrun-in
period.Theltershouldbechangedevery1000hoursthereafterormorefrequentlywhenoperatingconditionsare
severe.
Prioroperation:
Keepallnon-authorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.Parkthemachineonlevelgroundinneutralwiththeparking
brakeappliedandtheattachmentloweredtotheground.
1.Releasepressureinthehydraulicsystem.Installthe
transport/servicelinkintothelockposition.
2.Slowlyloosenthellercaponthehydraulicreservoirto
releaseanyresidualpressureinthereservoir.Leaveit
looseduringtheprocedure.
3.Turntheltercounterclockwisetoremove.Lubricate
thegasketandthreadsofthenewlterwithcleanoil
andinstall.Aftertheltermakescontactwiththelter
headtighten1/2to3/4turns.
4.Tightenthecaponthehydraulicreservoir.

5.Starttheengineandrunat1000RPM.Haveanas-
sistantcheckforleaksaroundthelterarea.Stopthe
engineandcheckandhydrauliclevel.T opoffifneces-
sary.
