Prioroperation:
Parkthemachineonarm,levelsurface.Lowertheattachmenttotheground.Applytheparkingbrake,andinstall
thetransportservicelinktopreventunexpectedarticulation.
1.Changethefuelprelterwhenthemachinehourmeter
registers100hoursforanewamachineduringtheini-
tialrun–inperiod.Filtersshouldbechangedevery500
hoursthereafterormoreoftenifconditionssorequire
oriffuelqualityispoor.Theprelterislocatedonthe
leftsideofthemachine.
2.Removeconnector.Openthedrainvalveonthefuel
prelterbyturningcounterclockwisetwoorthreeturns.
3.Drainthewaterand/orcontaminantsfromtheprelter
intoasuitablecontaineruntilcleanfuelows.Donot
allowfueltospillonengineorground.
4.Turntheltercounterclockwisetoremove.
5.Replacewithanewltercartridge,turningclockwise
untilthecartridgemeetsthelterhead.Handtighten
rmlyinplace.Donotuseawrenchtotighten.
6.Replaceconnectoratbottomoflter.

7.T obleedairfromthesystem,usethepumpatthetop
ofthelter.Pumpuntilfuelowswithoutairbubbles.
