housinggasket.Applyathinlayerofcleanoiltothe
newgasket.

7.Turnthelterhousingontothebaseuntilthegasket
makescontactwiththebaseandthenturnbyhandan
additional3/4turn.
8.Closetheremotedrain.
9.Filltheenginewiththeproperamountofoilthroughthe
llport(2).
10.Starttheengineandrunatidlespeed.Checkthe
engineoillterandremotedrainforleaks.
11.Aftertwominutesstoptheengine.
12.Waitfortheengineoiltodraindownforanaccurate
readingonthedipstick.
13.Checkthedipstick(1)andaddadditionaloil,ifneces-
sary.
14.Securetheengineaccesscover.

enginewhiledraining,andtheoilisslightlywarm.
