ThejoysticksteeringcontrolleverandtheForward,Neu-
tral,Reverse(FNR)switchallowtheloadertobeoper-
atedusinghandcontrolslocatedontheleftoperatorseat
armrest.Itallowsforsteeringmovementattheoperator’s
ngertips.
Usethesecontrolsinshortcycle,repetitive,highproduc-
tionloadandcarryoperationstoreduceoperatorfatigue
andincreaseoperatingefciency.Thesystemissetup
sothatthesteeringwheelisalwaysusable(alwayshas
priority)andthejoysticksteeringisdisabledifthesteer-
ingwheelisused.Itmaybepossiblethatthesteering
wheelcouldbeturnedextremelyslowlyandnotdeacti-
vatethejoysticksteering,butforallpracticaloperations
thejoysticksteeringsystemisdeactivatedwhenthesteer-
ingwheelisused.Thearmresthasabuilt-inF-N-Rswitch
andapushbuttonkick-downswitch.

inForward,Neutral,orReverse.T oactivatethisauxil-
iaryF-N-Rswitch,thepropersequencemustbefollowed.
TheprimaryshiftlevermustbeintheNeutralpositionbe-
foreactivatingjoysticksteering.Pushtheswitchforward
toplacethetransmissioninForward,placetheswitchin
themiddlepositiontoplacethetransmissioninNeutral,
andpushtheswitchrearwardtoputthetransmissionin
Reverse.
