Boosterbatteriesorjumpercablesmustbeconnectedproperlytopreventbatteryexplosionand/or
damagetotheelectricalsystem.Connectpositivetopositiveandnegativetonegative.

Makesurethatthevoltageoftheboosterbatteriesisthe
sameasthatofthemachinesystem(24V).Thebatteries
areenclosedincompartmentsonboththeleftandright
handrearofthemachine.T oaccessthebatteries,loosen
andremovetheboltstheholdthecoverinplace.

1.Turnofftheignitionandallaccessoriesonthema-
chine(s).Removethebatterycoverfromlefthandside
ofthemachine.Removethebatteryterminalcover.
2.Connectoneendofthepositive(+)cabletothepositive
(+)terminalontheboosterbattery.Connecttheother
endofthepositive(+)cabletothepositive(+)terminal
ofthedischargedbattery.
3.Connectthenegative(-)cabletothenegative(-)termi-
nalontheboosterbattery.
4.Connecttheotherendofthenegativecabletotheen-
gineblockorframeofthemachinewiththedischarged
battery.Donotconnectittosheetmetaloranyrotat-
ingpart,asdamagecanresult.Donotconnecttothe
negativeterminalonthebattery.
5.Starttheengine.
6.Removetheboosterbatterynegative(-)cablefromthe
machine,thenfromtheboosterbattery.Removethe
positive(+)cablefromthemachineandthenfromthe
boosterbattery.
7.Installtheterminalcovers.
