Jumppost(Optional)
Makesurethatthevoltageoftheboosterbatteriesisthe
sameasthatofthemachinesystem(24V).Thejumppost
islocatedonthelefthandsideofthemachinealongwith
themainelectricaldisconnectcompartment.
1.Turnofftheignitionandallaccessoriesonthema-
chine(s).Usethejumppoststoconnecttheauxiliary
battery.
2.Connectoneendofthepositive(+)cabletothepositive
(+)terminalontheboosterbattery.Connecttheother
endofthepositive(+)cabletothepositive(+)terminal
ofthejumppost(red).
3.Connectthenegative(-)cabletothenegative(-)termi-
nalontheboosterbattery.
4.Connecttheotherendofthenegativecabletotheneg-
ative(black)terminalofthejumppost.Donotconnect
ittosheetmetaloranyrotatingpart,asdamagecan
result.Donotconnecttothenegativeterminalonthe
battery.
5.Starttheengine.
6.Removetheboosterbatterynegative(-)cablefromthe
jumppostandthenfromtheboosterbattery.Remove
thepositive(+)cablefromthejumppostterminaland
thenfromtheboosterbattery.
7.Installtheterminalcovers.
