Kick-downswitch
Thekickdownswitchisusedtoshiftdownthroughthe
gearsinsinglesteps.Eachtimetheswitchispressed,
thetransmissionwillshiftdownonegearrangeuntilrst
gearisreached.Oncethekickdownswitchhasbeen
presseddown,thetransmissionmaximumgearallowed
islowered.Itwillreturntotheautomaticmodewhen(1)
thetransmissioncontrollevergearchanges,or(2)the
transmissioncontrolleverismovedtoNEUTRALandthen
toFORWARDortoREVERSE.
WhentheAutomaticModehasbeenchosenbytheop-
erator,theAutomaticModeindicatorwillbeshowninthe
multi-functiondisplay.

screen.Usejoysticksteeringforrepetitive,highproduc-
tionoperationssuchastruckloading,etc.Joysticksteer-
ingisnotintendedforprimarysteeringuse.

Toselectthespeedmostsuitablefortheoperationbe-
ingperformedwhenusingjoysticksteering,highlightthe
JoystickSpeedSelectatthesettingsscreenandpress
theenterkey.Atthejoysticksteeringscreen,choosethe
speedfromaonetothreerangeusingthearrowkeys.Af-
terthedesiredspeedhasbeenselected,presstheenter
keyagaintolockinthespeedselection.
Thehighertherangeselected,themoreresponsivesteer-
ingcapabilitiesofthemachinebecome.
NOTICE:Whenrstbecomingaccustomedtojoystick
steering,operatethemachineinalowerspeedrangein
aclearopenarea.
Alwayssetthespeedtosuitboththeoperator,operating
conditions,andworktobeperformed.Astheoperatorbe-
comesmorefamiliarwithjoysticksteering,ahighersteer-
ingspeedmaybedesired.
