coolantwithconventionalcoolant.MixingOATcoolant
withconventionalcoolantwillreducetheeffectivenessof
OATcoolant.

Changingcoolanttypes
TochangecoolantfromOATcoolanttoconventional
coolant(orviceversa):
1.Emptytheenginecoolingsystembydrainingthe
coolantintoasuitablecontainer.
2.Fillthesystemwithcleanwater.
3.Starttheengineandrunforatleast30min.
NOTE:Ensuretheheatingsystem(ifequipped)isac-
tivatedtocirculateuidthroughtheheatercore.
4.RepeatSteps1to3,foratotaloftwowashes.
5.Fillthesystemwithconventionalcoolant(orOAT
coolant).
6.Operatetheengineuntilitiswarm.Inspectthema-
chineforleaks.
7.IfyouarechangingtoOATcoolant,theattachthelabel
(CNHpartnumber47488993)toindicatetheuseof
OATcoolantinthecoolingsystem.

Forareaswherethetemperatureisbelow-36°C
(-32.8°F)-itisadvisabletouseablendof40%water
and60%anti-freeze.
