targetuntilandairgapof3.5-5mm(0.1-0.2in)is
obtained.Locktheproximityswitchinpositionwithits
jamnut.Torquethejamnutto5lbft.
5.Thelocationoftheheightcontroltarget(4)withinits
slotinthetargetmountingplatewilldeterminetheauto-
maticstoppingheightoftheliftarmsastheyareraised.
Thehigherthetargetispositionedinitsslotinthetarget
mountingplate,thelowertheliftarmswillautomatically
stopastheyareraised.Positionthetargetpertheta-
ble.Tightenthetargetinthisposition.
6.Thelocationofthereturntotraveltarget(2)withinits
slotinthetargetmountingplatewilldeterminewhere
theliftarmswillautomaticallystopwhiletheyarelow-
ered.Thehigherthistargetislocatedinitsslotinthe
targetmountingplatethelowertheliftarmswillauto-
maticallystopastheyarelowered.Positionthetarget
perthetable.Tightenthetargetinthisposition.
7.Makesuretheproximityswitchandallthemounting
boltsaretight.Starttheengine.Setthedetentswitch
totheonposition,andsetthereturntotravel/oatde-
tentswitchtothereturntotravelposition.Raisethe
liftarmstoapproximatelythehorizontalposition.Put
theloadercontrolleverintheraiseposition,andver-
ifythattheelectromagnetholdsitinthatpositionuntil
theheightcontroltargetpassesinfrontoftheproximity
switch.Next,withtheliftarmsstillraised,puttheloader
controlleverinthelowerposition,andverifythatthe
electromagnetholdsitinthatpositionuntilthereturnto
traveltargetpassesinfrontoftheproximityswitch.Po-
sitionthebucketatontheground.Shutthemachine
