System Overview 1-21
One to three power supplies provide power to components in the system chassis.
The system supports redundant power configurations to ensure continued sys-
tem operation if a power supply fails (The Model 2 has a minimum configura-
tion of two power supplies).
The power supplies select line voltage and frequency are automatically selected
for 200–240 V and 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
Power Supply LEDs
Each power supply has two green LEDs that indicate the state of power to the
system.
POK (Power OK)
Indicates that the power supply is functioning. The POK
LEDisonwhenthesystemisrunning. Whenthesys-
tem power is on and a POK LED is off, that supply is not
contributing to powering the system.
+5 V Auxiliary
Indicates that AC power is flowing from the wall outlet.
As long as the power supply cord is plugged into the wall
outlet, the +5V Aux LED is always on, even when the
system power is off.
