For proper cleaning of the filter it is necessary to:
– Preparethevehicleinthemaintenanceposition.
– Openandlockthehood.
– Openthefiltercover(fig.1506153)pullingthelockinglevers
locatedonthefourcorners.
– Liftthecoverandremovethecartridgefrominsidethefilter
(fig.1506154).
– Useawetlintfreeclothtocleantheboxandthecover.
– Cleanor replace the filters. The filter cleaning is carried out
withcompressedair, up to 3bar(43.5psi), at adistanceof
notlessthan150 mm(5.9in),takingcarenottodamagethe
filteringelement.
– Reassembleeverythingcarryingoutthesameoperationsin
reverse.

For a correct cleaning of the intake ducts it is necessary to:
– Preparethevehicleinthemaintenanceposition.
– Openandlockthehood.
– Loosenthescrewthatsecurestheinlethoneycomb.
– Removetheairinlethoneycomb(fig.1506155).
– Use a wet lintfree cloth for cleaning. Clean every air inlet
hole.
– Putbacktheinlethoneycombinitsseat.

In case the sealing connection between the suction duct and the filter is damaged, it must be replaced.
