9.4 Electrical Connections
9.4.1 Warnings for electrical connections
DANGER
Before making the electrical connections, switch off the vehicle.
Do not use the vehicle or the equipment if the electrical cables are worn or damaged, but repair or
replace them.
WARNING
Do not leave the boom plug hanging from the chain during work operations as this may be damaged
impairing the vehicle correct operation when used without equipment.
CAUTION
Before making the electrical connection, perform the "Equipment installation procedure" and check the
equipment is correctly fixed to the vehicle.
WARNING
When using an equipment that has electrical or hydraulic connections these must always
be correctly connected to the vehicle. Failure to connect does not allow the proper
operation of the safety devices with risk of damage to property and persons and risk of
vehicle tipping.
Consult the equipment manual to verify correct operation.
CAUTION
Check that the power cable is not in a position that hampers the movements of the operating vehicle and
of the equipment as it could be damaged.
9.4.2 Procedure for connecting electrical connections

or24pole,buttheconnectionprocedureisthesamefor
both.
For equipment provided with electrical system carry out
thefollowingoperations:
– Perform the equipment installation procedures
previouslydescribed:
– Turnoffthevehicle.
– Disconnect the cover from the socket on the boom
“1”(fig.1505121)loweringthe2safetylevers“2”.
– Removethecoverlocatedontheboomsocketandfit
it in the dummy socket aside (fig. 1505122) and
fastenitwiththeappropriatelevers.
