– Turnthewheel for the oil cap to be in the lowest possible
position(6o'clock).
– Placeacontainertocollecttheoil.
– Removethecapandlettheoildraincompletely
– Turnthewheelandbringthecaptothehorizontalposition
(9o'clock).
– Fillthroughthesamecapwithnewoiluntilitseepsthrough.
– Closethecapandtightenitsecurely.
11.14.2 Wheel nuts tightening
NOTICE
Tighten the nuts at the intervals required in the maintenance table.
Usethecorrespondingtabletoknowthecorrecttighteningtorque.
Alwaystightenthenutsinopposingposition,notconsecutively.
Afterinstallingthewheel,tightenthenutsbetweenthewheelandtheaxles.Thencheckthenuttorqueevery
dayuntilthetorqueisstabilized.
Thenumberof axlecolumnsmustmatch thenumberofnuts tightened.Thenallthe nutsoneachwheel
mustbeinstalledotherwisethevehiclecannotoperate.
Incaseofwheelreplacementthevehicleortheraisedsidecanbeplacedonthegroundonlywithwheels
installedandproperlytightened.
Thenutstighteningmustbemadefirstwiththevehicle,orpartofit,raisedfromthegroundthenwithvehicle
restingontheground.
Onlyuse DIECIoriginalnuts fortighteningthewheels.If youloseeven onenutcontacttheDIECI service
center.
11.14.2.1 Wheel nuts tightening: Inspection
Check that the nuts of the front and rear wheels are tightened
well, using a torque wrench (with a torque multiplier, if
necessary).
