Supported drive enclosures
AssuredSAN controller enclosures support compatible Dot Hill drive enclosures—using 2U and 4U form
factors—for adding storage.
J6G48/J6G24/J6G12 drive enclosure rear panel components
4004 Series controller enclosures support SFF J6G48 48-disk, SFF J6G24 24-disk, and LFF J6G12 12-disk
drive enclosures in the 2U form factor for expansion of storage capacity. These drive enclosures use
mini-SAS (SFF-8088) connectors to facilitate backend SAS expansion. The rear panel view is common to all
three drive enclosures. See Cable requirements for storage enclosures on page 40 for cabling information.
