8.4.2 Internal Pump Additional Components
The Serinus 30 internal pump option includes the following additional components:

Draw sample through the instrument
Includes sintered filter and differential pressure
sensor to measure flow.
Mounted in flow block to measure and control
temperature for accurate flow measurement.
Used to thermally isolate the flow block assembly
from the Serinus chassis.
Used to connect differential pressure PCA of the flow
block to main controller PCA.
Used to connect heater thermistor assembly of the
flow block to the main controller PCA.
Valve used to isolate pump from the pneumatic
circuit of the instrument.
8.4.3 Internal Pump Removed Components
The Serinus 30 has a number of components missing from the standard instrument due to the presence
of the internal pump and flow block controlling flow within the instrument. The parts that have been
removed when this option is installed are listed in the table below.

8.4.4 Pressure Calibration Internal Pump Option
The internal pump requires a separate modified procedure to allow the internal pump to generate the
necessary vacuum (refer to Section 5.2.3).
