1.5.4 Measurement Cell
Refer to Figure 3 for the location of measurement cell. The measurement cell consists of the following
components:

1.5.4.1 Cell
Refer to Figure 7 for the location of cell. The cell contains five mirrors that form a five-meter folded
path length through the cell. The sample gas is drawn through the cell filling the chamber and the IR
light travels through the sample. The Cell is maintained at a set temperature based on the cell set
point, default is 50 °C. The cell pressure is monitored to compensate for pressure changes.
The mirror alignment in cell assembly is critical and is factory aligned. No attempt should be made to
do a field adjust to the mirrors. Doing so will void the warranty.
CAUTION
Manually adjusting any of the mirrors or trying to access the internals of this
assembly may result in damage and will void the warranty.
