data, to the internal USB stick, the user will need to follow the below procedure:
1. Open - Main Menu Communications Menu Data Logging Menu
2. Select - Data Log Setup - Numeric option for data log setup.
3. Select - Parameter 2 Edit Change it to parameter 54.
To log CO
2
data via a remote logging program, you will need to request parameter 54 for CO
2
(parameter 53 continues to return average CO). Refer to Table 33 for other parameter details.
8.8.6 Maintenance
The sensor probe is interchangeable. It can be removed, re-attached, or replaced easily at any time
without the need for calibration and adjustment. The measurement range can also be changed by
replacing the probe with a different range.
For minor calibration adjustments, the offset and multiplier can be changed in the CO analyser. Refer
to Section 8.8.4 Firmware Configuration, for details of how to set an offset. It should not be necessary
to adjust the offset but it can be useful to match individual sensors to each other.
Refer to Table 26 for spare part list.
8.8.7 Troubleshooting
The sensor is a rugged design but if it is knocked harshly the optical components may become
misaligned. If the signal is noisy or suspected inaccurate, verify correct operation using a reference gas
containing 300 1000 ppm of CO
2
in air.
A replacement probe can be purchased from Ecotech if required. Request CO
2
probe to suit part
E031014.
