Probe to CO Analyser
Plumbing Connections
The CO
2
sensor does not restrict the flow in any way, so it can be connected either:
1. In-line between a sample manifold and the CO analyser; or
2. With its own sample pump and tube connections.
The direction of flow through the sensor is not critical. Use a piece of 1/4” O.D. Teflon tube to make
the connections. It is not usually necessary to pre-filter the sample entering the CO
2
sensor. The CO
2
sensor probe has its’ own replaceable filter. As the flow through the filter is diffuse and not high flow,
this filter should have a long service life in most installations. The filter is available as a spare part if
required.
It is important to check that the sensor probe is fully inserted into its black housing and ensure it is
sealed gas tight.
