8.8.3 Equipment Required
• 1/4” tubing such as Teflon tube will be required to connect the probe to a sample manifold.
8.8.4 Installation
Electrical Connections
The CO
2
sensor must be installed within an air conditioned room. The sensor output varies slightly with
temperature and pressure (refer specifications Section 8.8.2).
Connect the signal cable to the 25-way connector on the rear of the CO analyser as shown in
Figure 157.
Connect the power supply to a power outlet and switch the power ON.
Note: The plug pack supplied is universal AC input and 12 VDC output. The acceptable power
supply range is 11 - 20 VDC on +L terminal (refer to Figure 157). A second terminal labelled +H is
provided that allows the sensor to be powered from 24 VDC supply (18 - 30 VDC range) if required.
An analog (voltage) output is pre-wired with a cable and 25-pin male connector. The output is
0 - 5 VDC corresponding to a range of 0 - 2000 ppm. Other higher ranges are available from the
manufacturer – consult Ecotech for information.
