Motor Assembly
The motor that drives the correlation wheel is a 12 VDC Brushless motor.

Narrow-Bandpass Filter
The narrow bandpass filter allows only the CO sensitive portion of the IR radiation to pass through to
the IR detector (4.7 microns) reducing noise and interference.

IR Detector
The IR detector is a cooled lead selenide (PbSe) photoconductive IR detector. It creates an electrical
signal when wavelengths centred at 4.7 microns reach it.
