Figure 4-3 Patient Information Page
The top three lines are for entering the patient last name, first name, ID, exam accession number, and
DOB (Date-of-Birth), gender or age. If date of birth is entered, the age is automatically calculated.
Note:
By default, the patient name has two fields: family name and given name. It can be configured to be
one field in the Patient Setup screen (See section 10.1.5 for detail).
After entering the patient ID, the Exam List at the left of the Patient Information Page will show all the
stored previous exams of this patient. Select one exam from the list and the detailed patient
information of this exam will be entered into the associated fields on the patient information page.
The next line displays tabs of multiple exam presets, and the associated patient information fields are
displayed below this line. The patient information needed to fill in changes with different exam presets.
All the possible patient information fields you may need to fill in are listed below:
LMP / BBT:Last Menstrual Period/ Basal Body Temperature. You can select LMP or BBT and
enter associated information, and then the system will calculate the GA and EDD accordingly.
You can also manually select the EDD, and it will not affect the entered LMP. An LMP/BBT
more than 300 days ago is considered invalid.
GA: Gestational Age (xxWyD), it is auto-calculated when LMP or EDD is entered (only in OB
Exam).
EDD: Estimated Date of Delivery (YYYY/MM/DD,MM/DD/YYYY,DD/MM/YYYY). The system
calculates the EDD according to the entered LMP or GA. You can also choose to input EDD,
after which the system will calculate the GA.
Fetus: Enter 1 up to 4 for multiple gestations.
