5.6.2. Curved Anatomic M Mode
In curved Anatomic M mode, the distance/time curve is derived from the curved sample line manually
drawn on the image.
Using Curved Anatomic M mode:
1. Press Curved AMM button on the M-mode touch screen to invoke the Curved Anatomic M mode.
2. Move the cursor to the start point on the B image, and press <Set> key to fix it. The digital
number "1" is marked beside the point.
3. Move the cursor to next point, and press <Set> key to fix it. The sample line segment between
these two points is displayed in green.
Pressing Undo on the touch screen will cancel the current point and activate the previous point.
4. Repeat step 3 to place other points. Each point is marked with a number in sequence.
5. Press <Set> key to complete this curved sample line.
Editing the Curved Sample Line:
Editing the sample line:
Press Edit on the touch screen to enter the editing status, and the cursor becomes a small green
box. Move the cursor over one point, press <Set> key to activate this point, and then move the
cursor to change the shape of the curved sample line. Press <Set> key to finish the editing.
Removing the sample line:
Press Cancel on the touch screen to remove the curved sample line.
Optimizing Curved Anatomic M Image:
The controls for optimizing Curved Anatomic M image are consistent with those in M mode, please
refer to section 5.5.2 M-mode Image Optimization.
