Assign the cine loops to the four views
The assignment of the cine loops to the view can be done after image acquisition. To assign the cine
loops to the view, move the trackball to the desired cine loop, press <Set> key to highlight the desired
cine loop, and then select the appropriate view on the right top part of the screen.
Wall Segment Scoring:
Wall segment scoring is to manually assign scores to each cardiac segment by visually comparing the
cine loops before and after stress, in order to quantify the function of the muscle or wall segment. The
left ventricle is divided into 16 segments for scoring with the method of 5 points. The meanings and
colors for each score are listed in the table below.
To assign a score to wall segment:
1. Select a preferred cine loop for each view and each stage.
2. Press the Analysis key to display the wall segment scoring screen.
3. Select one view on the upper left part of the screen, and its cine loops of each stage will be
displayed on the middle part of the screen.
4. Select one score on the lower left part of the screen, and then select one wall segment to assign
the score to the wall segment.
5. Repeat step 4 to score relevant segments.
6. Repeat step 3 through step 5 to score relevant segments for a new cine clip.
7. Once a wall segment is scored, the score will be filled in the bull's eye on the lower right part of
the screen, and the WMSI(Wall Motion Segmental Index) averaged from all the wall segment
scores will also be displayed beside the bull's eye .
